This week, our Australian project team proudly participated in the Gippsland New Energy Conference (GNEC) in Traralgon, where three of our Corio colleagues took the stage across multiple panels:
Penny Pickett, Head of Australia: “International Lessons in Offshore Wind for Gippsland”
Nick Stirling, Supply Chain Manager: “Maximising Gippsland’s Potential Supply Chain with Bold Global Vision”
Kate Foster, Regional Stakeholder Manager: “Community Benefit Models for Gippsland: Global Insights and Local Aspirations”
GNEC offered a valuable platform to connect with key stakeholders of our Great Eastern Offshore Wind project in Gippsland and share our local knowledge and global insights with the sector.
As proud gold sponsors, we were delighted to support this industry event, which also featured a free community expo and the Gippsland New Energy Youth Summit. It was a great opportunity to engage with local students about career prospects in offshore wind.
We’re excited to continue advancing the conversation on Gippsland’s promising energy future and showcasing the potential of offshore wind as the region transitions to renewable energy.
A big thank you to Gippsland Climate Change Network, Latrobe City Council and Wellington Shire Council for staging such an outstanding event for Gippsland.
