The Great Eastern Offshore Wind project team were delighted to attend Latrobe Valley Enterprises (LVE) for their Open Day last week. It was great to hear from Suzanne Lewis, CEO, and Mark MacManus, General Manager – Operations, as they took us on a tour to meet the incredible workforce and discover the power of inclusivity while celebrating the unique capabilities of people living with disabilities.
LVE run an impressive operation and Corio Generation are pleased to support their meaningful employment. Their business employs 100+ staff, and covers Business Support Services, Grounds Maintenance, Recycling & Secure Document Destruction and Signmaking.
We heard about how their road signs can be seen from Sale to Traralgon; their Braille signage is used in many buildings across Australia including the Victorian Parliament House. The LVE recycling business also manages 300+ tonnes of materials a month. Their clients include both private and government organisations – right across Australia.
